Jon Dixon

Jon is Managing Principal and Co-Founder of Ascent. Jon specializes in sourcing, funding and managing commercial real estate assets. Jon has been involved on the principal side in over half a billion dollars of commercial real estate investments in the past 8 years. Ongoing projects and past investments include adaptive reuse, office, retail, multi-family apartments and management of over 1 million square feet of commercial real estate. Jon began his career with Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he worked in structured products focused on real estate. He participated in all aspects of over $3 billion in commercial real estate debt obligations.
Jon is a Charlotte native and graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied psychology and economics. Jon is a member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church and a board member of WARD’s Foundation, a non-profit working to improve and support the lives of people affected by rare diseases. Jon resides in Charlotte with his wife and two daughters.

Caci brings over 12 years of residential and commercial real estate experience to the Ascent team. She focuses on Asset Management throughout the entire asset lifecycle from the acquisition process, development or renovation, and operations through disposition.
Prior to moving to Charlotte from New York City, Caci worked for LCOR, a large residential developer, owner and operator. At LCOR, Caci was responsible for overseeing over $500M of multifamily renovation and development projects. Before joining LCOR in 2010, Caci was a Senior Associate at AIG’s Investment Group (AIG Global Real Estate) focused on residential real estate acquisitions and asset management.
Caci graduated from Brown University Magna Cum Laude with Honors and holds a master’s degree from Harvard University. Caci is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and New York. She is a LEED-certified professional and a member of ULI. She is an active supporter of several local charitable organizations focusing on opportunities for at-risk youth and the arts.

Aaron is a Principal and Co-Founder of Ascent and an experienced broker in the Charlotte MSA market. Aaron's knowledge, experience, and connection to the leasing & brokerage industry is a vital part of Ascent’s identification and operation of assets in the Carolinas. Aaron's primary responsibility is the management of Ascent Real Estate Partners, a third-party commercial real estate agency.
Aaron began his real estate career in 2003 and lives in Charlotte with his wife Marie and three sons. Aaron is an active supporter and volunteer at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Mint Museum, and Carmel Baptist Church.

Jack leads commercial acquisitions, development, and asset management efforts for Ascent. His responsibilities include sourcing, underwriting, and managing the company’s commercial investments. Additionally, he oversees investor relations and works directly with leasing agents and property management teams at the operational level.
Previously, Jack served as a Principal at Dogwood Holdings where he developed light-industrial properties in the Charlotte area. He began his career as a Commercial Underwriter at Regions Financial Corporation. Jack is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina.
Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the College of Charleston. He lives in Charlotte with his wife and two children.

A 21-year industry veteran, Mac is a Partner at Ascent Real Estate Capital and leads the Retail Development and Investment platform. During his career, Mac has participated in over $1.2B (2,500,000 SF) of commercial real estate projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast United States with a primary focus on Retail and Medical offices. Prior to Ascent, Mac was a Partner at Selwyn Property Group where he focused on Grocery Anchored, Multi-Tenant, and STNL retail development and acquisitions. Mac also worked in development for Lauth Property Group and Crescent Communities.
Mac is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, and the Charlotte Commercial Board of Realtors. Mac graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Mac resides in Charlotte with his wife and three kids.

Ben serves as an acquisitions and asset management analyst covering both commercial and multifamily investments. Ben’s responsibilities include financial underwriting, identifying potential acquisitions, investor reporting, and overseeing capital improvement projects. Ben also works closely with property management teams.
Previously, Ben worked for IBM in Washington, DC as a Federal Consultant. There he served as the financial lead for multiple Department of Defense contracts. Ben is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Business degree from Kenan-Flagler Business School.
Ben is originally from Greensboro, NC, and is a volunteer for the American Heart Association.

Paris Hackett is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with more than 2 years of Public Relations agency experience. Working as an Account Coordinator at Articulate, Paris supported PR campaigns and innovative events to impact brand awareness, reputation, and profitability in the wine and spirits industry.
Recently relocating back to her hometown, Charlotte from New York, Paris is crafts and creates powerful, integrated campaigns within the Real Estate industry at Ascent.
